Having started his sixth year as Principal of Central in 2019 our school Principal, Mr. Alex Hetyey, has over  40 years of experience working in academic institutions. After living and working in thirteen different countries Alex has grown to love Vanuatu and has decided to make it his home. 

His love for teaching and helping students reach their potential is his driving force behind all his efforts. At Central his efforts have produced several innovative programs such as the Health Promoting School Initiative, School Health Clinic, Second Chance Learning program, Year 10c (our evening  program for Year 10 repeaters), and Central's Offline Resource Database.

The school is looking forward to more innovative programs for teachers and students in 2018.
