Admin Office
'Central School is lead by a dedicated and well experienced Principal, Alex Hetyey, who brings with him a desire to raise the capacity of the school’s teachers and staff in order to provide students with a top rated education that will prepare them for fulfilling lives.
The Administration Office is run by a team of four hard working staff, coming from local islands and overseas, they strive to provide a high standard of service to the school's families and students.

Our Bursar Kathy Noah is responsible for invoicing, receiving, and receipting school fees. She is also responsible for making our supplier payments and many other financial tasks which are too many to list. Although Kathy is often behind the scene, not a lot would get done without at least some input from our Bursar.

Susan Kalorib is our Office Manager. She’s the school’s first point of contact by telephone and at our service window and can answer nearly every question about the school operations. Susan’s responsible for enrollment forms, distributing school reports, newsletters and just about whatever else needs to be communicated from the school.

Christine Kekuki is our most recent addition to the school’s Admin Team. The school’s unique program Second Chance Learning is coordinated by Christine. She also handles the main administration part of the program along side the Principal. Christine is also instrumental in handling the additional office workload from the ever growing amount of office tasks at hand.

Steven Bough is our Financial Controller. Keeping his hand on the pulse of the school, when money is involved he makes every effort to make sure the school’s needs are translated into action. Reporting to the Principal and School Council he makes sure the school is able to make its day-to-day needs and keep a look out on the school’s long-term plans. Originally from Canada, having lived in Vanuatu for the past 10 years Steven is now a proud Vanuatu citizen.

Counsellor
Central Secondary is one of the few schools in Vanuatu to boast a full-time school Counsellor, Mr. Mariki Kalo. Bringing many years of professional experience and dedication with him, Mariki cares deeply for the welfare of every student. His role focuses on helping students develop and manage the skills they will need to a successful students. Some areas where he concentrates his efforts are reducing absenteeism, lateness and promoting good student behaviour as outlined in our Student Code of Conduct. Parents and students are welcome to discuss any school issues with Mariki that they feel will help improve academic success.
Ancillary Staff
The buildings the students learn in, the offices staff work in, the school grounds where students and staff come to every day are each an integral part that contributes to the outstanding achievements of Central School. No school would be complete without a team of conscientious and hard working individuals who don't stop until their work is done. At Central these tasks are taken on by our dedicated Ancillary Staff. Often under appreciated and over worked their work never seems to be done.
